Our method

Where the numbers come from

In every new article, a number comes from a register of facts, never from a hand-typed sentence; the journal’s first articles are being brought under the same rule one by one. The register holds 842 facts today, last checked on 12 October 2026. A public fact carries the link to its official source (tourist office, organiser, municipality, ministry) and an expiry date after which it is checked again.

What is measured

Travel times are computed from the house by a route planner, without traffic, and rounded to 5 minutes: an article says “about”, never a stopwatch time. Distances, climbs and walking times of the routes come from their GPX tracks. Facts about the house come from its technical sheet.

Who writes

Articles are drafted with AI assistance by the house team, then checked by a series of automated tests: sourced facts, the same numbers in every language, readability, links. Every article carries the signature of Robin, the host, who stands behind it; the update date appears at the top.

Our rules

A photo at the top of an article is a real photo of the place; otherwise the page keeps a typographic title. Event dates come from their organisers. The journal publishes no reviews, ratings or testimonials.
